Customer notice: Coronavirus latest update

Due to the latest Government restrictions all of our Leisure Centres and Telford Ice Rink remain closed until further notice. Any customers who pay on a quarterly or annual cash basis will have their membership extended to compensate for the closure and will membership direct debits remain froze during this time. We are delighted that Horsehay Village Golf Centre, Telford Ski and Snowboard Centre will re-open under Government guidance from Monday 29 March 2021. Membership direct debits for these services will resume from this date.

If you are not ready to return just yet though, that’s not a problem. Please refreeze your membership.

I’m sure you can appreciate the situation we find ourselves in is constantly changing but we will keep you informed about our plans to re-open under Government guidance. Please make sure you are following us on Facebook and signed up to our email list to receive the latest news.

Whilst our facilities are closed we are delivering an online facebook fitness class programme, download the fitness class timetable.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) FAQs - fitness classes

Until 17 May 2021 we will be offering a small amount of outdoor fitness classes based at the Phoenix Sports and Leisure Centre, you will need to book for these outdoor classes. Bookings can be made online.

Social distancing rules require us to proactively manage the number of participants at all times and record users of the facility. Booking activities will enable this and guarantee your space and prevent wasted visits.

You may be expected to queue as we have limited capacity for each class, please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class and queue outside the door as indicated. Please enter and exit the studio by following the social distancing signage and respecting others and their space.

The outdoor class programme can be accessed on our website.

Slots can be booked online or over the phone a maximum of 3 days in advance, all slots become available from 7am each day.

We would encourage members to cancel pre-booked classes if they cannot attend, this will permit another member to book onto that class. This can be done by accessing the online booking portal or by contacting the leisure centre by phone. For pay as you go customers, our usual cancellation policy applies (minimum 24 hours notice) and refunds can be received by phoning the centre and cancelling.

We would ask that all members give 24 hours-notice for cancellations.

Members can book multiple classes throughout the week within the booking period.

That is now permitted, but desirable that bookings are all done on line to guarantee a slot. 

Customers who do not have online access, please ring the facility to book your slot. 

We will continue to offer a limited number of online classes up until 17 May 2021. Please note that all pre-recorded online classes are still available to access. Online classes are subject to change.

We will not be providing exercise mats, you will need to bring your own if the class requires one. This is due to customer safety and government guidance. 

Water fountains will not be available, please bring a pre-filled water bottle.

Please do not bring towels for gym or class use, we will provide paper towels and sanitiser spray.
